My dear Son,
I received your letter Sunday
but have not been well enough to answer it
until this time – I am now better again –
I suppose by the time you receive this you
will have gone into quarters – I think think the
long rain we have had makes it desirable –
I hope you have not suffered from exposure –
Aunty
Willie

accompanied by Mary anna Pelham
has enjoyed her visit here much – she has
been quite a belle, receiving universal attention
from the young gentlemen and ladies – She
wishes very much that she could have been
at the Point to attend the ball – her father
informed her that she had an invitation sent
to Canandaigua –she is curious to see it –
Our house will be quite changed again when
all are gone – Clarence

Your Father
Monday and has not returned I expect him
tomorrow – he has diverged from his course
home to attend one or two mass meetings –
A letter came from Julia
Grandma
I should not be at all surprised to hear of
Grandma’s death – she has been failing so long
Grandpa has recovered from so many similar
attacks with his constitution apparently renovated
that I do not feel so anxious about him –
I am very lonely without Willie – he is to
stay another week – Fred

We received your report for July this
