My dear Aunty,
I am sorry to
hear Frances
shall come out there when
Eliza
that will be in about four
weeks— I think Carlo
will be very glad to see me
when I come and I hope
you will too—I hope
Frances will not be sick
again— Give my love
to Carlo and Frances —

I had a letter from Mary
saying that her hand was
lame— She said nothing
about Father
weeks since Mother has heard
from him and three weeks
since she has heard from
Freddy
Thurlow
Seminary to school with
her—he talks a great deal
about it—I have had a
fit since you went away
and have been very badly
sick—I asked Catherine
why she did not come and
see me, she said she was
afraid—Ann

milk room to night when a
rat jumped over her foot
and ran out to the drain
and then Catherine screamed
I have three very large
marbles and one china
alley which sister likes
to play with very much—
I have moved all my
play things books toys
and all into my
play room—my hobby
horse is there too—
I went over to the office
to day and saw a little
boy
him – he wanted my
marbles – he belongs

in the office—. Mrs Hills
came over when I was sick
and wanted me to take some
old school medicine which
I would not do and do
not intend to as long as I
live— I rode to Aunt Clara's
in the cutter— I will never
ride in it again it is broken
so— I advised Grandpa
to ride in it any more—
Aunt Clara gave me a
large piece of sponge cake
and a cruller— Mr Mc
