Written in the hand of Frances M. SewardMy dear brother,
It is a long
time since I have written
you a letter — How long
before you are coming home –
We are building an addition
to the house in which I
have a room — it is quite

follow Johns

very much —
I am going out to Canan-
daigua with Grandpa
when the weather gets
pleasant — it has rained
a long time — We have
a large furnace down
cellar which makes the
house very comfortable —
I have written a letter
to Father and Fanny
has written one too —
Your affectionate brother
Willie
