I sent you a letter a few days stating
partially Tempeys
day since she was first confined to her bed
She was smart and set up a little in that time
for the the last four weeks has been almost
as helpless as an infant had to be lifted from
bed to bed without the benefit of sitting up any
had lost all strength and flesh ten days since
a rush of blood to the head she lost her reason
which did not return fully suffered greatly
but was not concious of it began to fail
sensibly last sabbath and died yesterday after
noon at 1 oclock the funeral will be atten-
ded on sabbath next at 11 oclock
Frances
the hooping cough badly Mary
cough caught by sitting up with her aunt
I left them in great affliction for there loss
which they cannot realise at the present I leave
Immediately for home
your Affte and
Loving Brother
Edwin P Seward.
