I wish you a
very happy New Year " —
and so, I presume do kitty
and Carlo who are sitting
on each side of me — I wish
you were here to day to drive
me out in our new two
seated red cutter — but
I presume you are enjoy-
ing yourself much better
in Washington — I came out
here on Saturday but I am
going back the last of
this week or the first of
next because Grandpa
is so alone without me —
Grandpa said he missed
