Uncle,
Will you be kind enough to inform me at what
time I may depend upon some decisive action by the
executors of the S. S. Seward
Allow me to say kindly, but most plainly, that unless
some definite information is communicated within ten days
from the date of this letter, I shall petition the Surrogate
at once, to cite the Executors to show cause why distribution
of the Estate should not be made immediately. This step
I have been indisposed to take without giving you previous
intimation.
My intention is communicated to Mr Grier
letter having the same date with this.
Respectfully,
Augustus Seward
The Honorable
William H. Seward
Executor &c
