here, allowed the Steam Engine and Boiler to
be placed in the building with the reservation, however
that the Company should “not be liable for any loss
arising from the Boiler's exploding”
The lease which I drew for Mr Oliphant
to sign contained a clause making him liable for
all loss or damage that should be caused by rea-
son of the explosion of the Boiler, thus covering up
the gap in the Insurance policy. That lease he
refused to sign.
As the matter now stands, you have no
protection against any accident that may occur.
