My Dear Frances
I wrote you
that when we had made
any plan by which we
might determine when we
should reach Auburn I
would inform you of it,
we reached this place
last evening and shall go
to Niagara Falls in the
morning, after staying there

a day or two we shall

Oswego and Syracuse,

daughters
Likely Frances Seward Condict is living at
the former place and I
wish to call on her, I
cannot say what day
we shall be at Auburn
but it will not be before
the latter part of the
week nor is it very im-
portant for you will allow
me to say that the "string
of the latch is always out"
at your house and we as
plain folks only need a

a friendly greeting.
We have been spending
some time with
Unknown of
Mrs Sewards
Portage and looking at
the sights at that place,
Julia
to you, Give my love to
your children and
Believe
me Your Brother
