Friday June 3d
My dear Henry,
I should have written
yesterday had I not
consumed all my
strength in attempting
to regulate the books
in the library which
four women
engaged in cleaning –
Fred
morning having waited
in vain for his
Aunty
she will come
Saturday –

I am glad you have seen Madame
— Kossuth’s
I hope you will
find time to call
upon Mrs. Webster
I had a memorandum
for the shawl but
feared to trouble you –
It is to be large, plain,
black, silk, with fringe,
– square –
Dont trouble yourself
with it if inconvenint –
I think Clara
prefer that the price
should not exceed
$10 or $12 —

There are a number
of letters but none
of importance – Among
them an invitation
to a Bunker Hill
celebration at the
Tabernacle, N. Y. – the
17th of June – Augustus
address is 179 Water St –
I presume you have
seen him before this –
Fred writes me
that the Weeds had
gone to Rochester
Mr Weed
join them leaving
him and Mrs Alden
to keep house –

Fanny
it very lonely without
Father? — Birds &
flowers continue
to abound – I hope
you will not be
long away – We
have had table
moving in perfection
by the young people —
It is equally undeniable
and unexplainable
but does not at all
impress me as super-
natural — your own
Frances –
