My Dear Brother
Mr Grier
me that he was about writing you, I
have been making inquires of him about
the sand for my building, my masons
I shall want 100 loads, your bank near
the vault is the most convenient place for
me to get it, I do not like to take it
without your knowledge and consent,
Should you do me the favor I will
so try to manage it as to do no or
little damage to the land
I wish to begin to draw in a few
days and therefore request an answer
at your earliest convenience, I have
commenced to dig the cellar my
contracts for materials are all made
Carpenters and mason are engaged and
in a few days we should commence
the walls
We are all well as usual
We are sorry to hear Frances
is not good. We wish to be remembered to her
Affectionately your Brother
George W. Seward
[right Margin] P.S. Are any of your post for sale. old cedar fencing posts.
