My dear Mother
I believe that
it is two weeks since I wrote to you last
and is time to write again but I have
not much to write. I was sorry to hear
that you had so much trouble with
the paper. "Abby"
Birth: 1815 Death: 1882-01-28
is one of those kind
of men that will do just as they
have a mind to.
We have been expecting Father
Birth: 1801-05-16 Death: 1872-10-10
down here all this week but he
did not come, I suppose that
he is very busy. Will you pleas
ask him for the money which
is coming to me for this last
month which is ended. I should
like very much to have it this
week as want to use it. I find
that my summer Clothes are too
small so I shall to get new ones
If I have $200 it it will
not be quite 20 a mt but
I should like to have as much
as I had before, as every thing
is so high here that I shall need
all of it. my Clothes alone would
cost me ^twice^ as much as they did at
home if I had as many but I shall
try and ge along with less if I can.
I received Fannys
Birth: 1844-12-09 Death: 1866-10-29
letter the other
day which I was very glad to get
I will answer it when I get time
Love to all
Your affectionate son
Will
PS
