Auburn Sep 20 th
My dear Son,
I have your letter
of Wednesday — am glad
you have changed your
boarding house — I am pained
to find that you have been
ill — I wish you would
come home and let me
take care of you when you
are sick — I enlose $5
and will send you the
remainder if this reaches
you —
I was interrupted in
my letter by a report
that Tom Miller
Birth: 1817-07-09 Death: 1864-07-23
had come
but it proved to be Jenny
Birth: 1839-11-18 Death: 1913-11-09
who is looking quite
as well as when we
parted — She is out with
her cousin
Unknown
leaving cards
for a wedding —
Clara Miller
Birth: 1827-12-03 Death: 1911-07-07
is to be
married the 30 at Mr
Husons
Birth: 1822 Death: 1861-10-14
— we are all, you
included, invited to the
wedding — Fanny
Birth: 1844-12-09 Death: 1866-10-29
is
waiting to take this
letter to the office —
so I will defer writing
any more just now —
Love to Fred
Birth: 1830-07-08 Death: 1915-04-25
& Anna
Birth: 1834-03-29 Death: 1919-05-02
also regards to William
Henry
Birth: 1835-01-09 Death: 1926
— I shall
insist upon your coming
home if your health
continues as it now is —
You ought not to stay —
God bless you
Mother —
