My dear Fanny,
I should have answered your
letter before but I could find no time untill
now. Nep

is quite well and has
taken up his abode by the Office Stove
where he spends most of his time.
The little Cat has at present made herself
comfortable in the middle of my Bed where she
intends staying the rest of the day I should
think. We have been having good
Sleighing for the last few days until yesterday
when there came a thaw and the Snow all
went off. I have just been buying a
nice little White Cutter and I wish you were
here to take a ride in it.
