My dear Mother
I send you a statement of
Johns
from the $118.50 due him, all the money which you have
let him have since you went to Washington, his act
will the show up to April 5th [ . ]
Reason:
I have obtained the receipts for Charlott
will Keep them safe until you return. Mr
Morgan
money to Wm Newark
has changed her mind he will send it. Please ask
her.
I am glad to hear that you intend coming
home before the first of May.
All are quite well. Jenny
and sends love. She is about getting a carpet for
the upstairs front room at Pisgah [ . ]
