(amount paid to day Three Hundred Seventy seven 19/100 Dollars)
Will you please execute a satisfaction piece on the
mortgage and return it to me. On the next page
of this letter is a copy of your indorsement on the
bond and a statement of payments + changes to this
date.

Chautauqua remittance, the unexpected payment of the
Stock Mortgage has however made the act good again
with a balance in your favor.

I find on the bond accompaning the Stork Mortgage
the following indorsement
"1859 April 14" the principal and interest remaining unpaid on this bond
at this date was $796.50 with six months interest, Willis W Sittser has
this day paid me that interest (namely $27 88/100) and One Hundred Dollar
principal, leaving due Six Hundred ninety six dollars + fifty cents. Interest
to be reckoned from this date" signed William H Seward.
