My dear Son
I thought last night
that it would be very
pleasant to go to your room
and see you and Anna
and Augustus
there - you all seem
far away now.
Wednesday morning.
I commenced this
letter Monday - that
day I had an unusually
sour time of neuralgia
from which I am
now so far recovered
as to be downstairs
again.

Your letter inquiring about
the Chatauqua deeds
came last evening. I
mentioned in a letter to
Fanny
ceived and would be
attended to. I think
this is about two weeks ago.
I send you Mr. Day
answer to a note of
inquiry from me this
morning. Aunty
me to ask you and
your father to use
your influence to get
Archy Maroni
to the navy. He
is very loyal which
his brother
I shall remind your
father in a few

days of De Lany Huson
who is promised an appoint-
ment this month.
I am in favour of young
Maroni by not to the
exclusion of Huson.
Tell Fanny I will
write to her tomorrow.
Love to Anna & her
mother
May God bless
you all.
Very affectionately
Mother.
Aunty says - "say that
Edward Hall
his place, leaving a vacancy."
