Birth: 5-2-1805
Death: 1-9-1848
Alternate First Name: Maryann
RelationshipsChildrenFrierson, Catherine Kellogg
Biography
Mary Ann Kellogg (nee Converse), was WHS's first choice for a wife. However, Henry decides not to marry her, firstly because Mr. Kellogg is not a respectable man in the way he has made his money, and also because even though he is wealthy, he has six other children with whom he will share his estate, which meant less "lucre" for Henry. Henry decides also not to marry Mary Ann because she is 'hot and cold,' so to speak, and Henry feels she doesn't respect him.
