David Hudson the elder. Not sure if he is related to Fanny's Latin teacher. Mentioned in 1830s letters by Frances as a man of means. Federal Censuses show Hudson living in Aurelius in 1800 and Mentz in 1810 and 1820. Both towns are in Cayuga County.
