Biography

FMS's priest in Auburn in the 1840's. FMS wrote to LMW in Sept. 1844 that their church was in "considerable commotion owing to the resignation of Mr Croswell" and she explained that Croswell returned to Boswell to be the pastor of a new church there. FMS believed the church had "become so impoverished" that they weren't paying Croswell so FMS thought the church should hire an unmarried reverend instead.
