Biography

Henry Lytton Earle Bulwer was the son of General William Earle Bulwer and Elizabeth Barbara Lytton. He was born in England, and became a diplomat. He served in Paris, Madrid, Constantinople, and, finally, Washington, D.C. He lived in America for three years, from 1848-1851. He married Georgiana Wellesely in 1848. They had no children and separated a few years later.
