Biography

Orville Luther Holley was a lawyer, statesmen and editor. He edited Anti-Masonic in Troy, the Daily Advertiser and the State Register in Albany. He was the surveyor-general of the state under WHS in 1838 and he held an office in the state department in Albany from 1851-1861.
