Biography
Doctor Adrian Vanderveer attended Columbia College and the College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He served as the "Medical Society of the County of King's" Seventh President. He was the first Brooklyn physician to leave general practice and specialize.
He was also very religious, he organized the Reformed Church Sabbath of Flatbush and served as its superintendent until his death.
He devoted himself to the treatment of female diseases, including uterine treatments, and his nephew followed in his footsteps.
