Biography

Sister Mary Cecelia Brooks entered the Georgetown convent in 1819, and for the greater part of her life in the sisterhood she was either Superiors of the convent, or Directress of the school. She was sent as Superiores to Mount de Slaes in Catonsville, Maryland, when that convent was founded. She remained there until her death in 1860.
