Biography
Isaac W. Quick was from Auburn, New York and participated in the growing manufacturing and entrepreneurial investments within the city. Isaac Quick formed a grocery firm with George S Hall, which was appropriately named, Quick and Hall. However, at the death of Hall, Quick later renamed the firm to reflect a new partnership, Quick and Bartlett. In addition to his grocery firm, Quick was also an investor in Hussey and Eldred. Hussey created a successful mechanic reaper that could effectively and efficiently cut grain. After the deaths of both Hussey and Hall, Quick purchased both their interests in the business.
