Clara Frances Boardman was the daughter of Clara Francis Boardman and Christopher Columbus Boardman. She was born circa 1834 in New York City. After her parents died, it appears she went to live with her uncle and aunt, Henry Augustus Boardman and Eliza B Boardman, in Philadelphia, PA. On December 18, 1860, she married George Smith Gibbs Harvey. She died on November 10, 1907, and is buried in Pennsylvania.

The 1860 census lists her birth date as "circa 1835," but Frances Seward mentions her being born in a letter written in October, 1834 (Letter from Frances Adeline Miller Seward to Lazette Miller Worden on October 2, 1834). So it is more likely she was born in the late summer/fall of 1834.
Her birth date is also listed as "abt 1834" in her death record.
