Biography

Daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Watts) Hulings, married Robert Callender Duncan in 1811. Maintained house for visitors on Duncan's Island on Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania.  Frances and William H. Seward stayed at "Mrs. Duncan's" during their 1835 trip through Pennsylvania and Virginia.
