Biography

Stocqueler was a British author and lecturer on current affairs. He wrote about British India and military history. Stocqueler went by the name of Professor Siddons, and he is mentioned by this name in a letter from November 1861, when Frances Adeline Seward attended one of his lectures on "The Art of War."
