Mentioned in 18590123FMS_LMW (while they are in Washington) that "Mr Barrett" sent Kate a cameo bracelet and would buy her a sewing machine. Also, in 18640515FMS_AHS, Frances says "Catherine knows nothing of her husband - it is a long time since she has heard from him." It seems possible that Patrick Barrett is the name of Catherine's husband, as Catherine's will in 1878 left everything to "Patrick J. Barrett." No other sources can be found to verify this right now, so this needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but it is a possible lead.
