Wednesday morning –
My dear Henry,
Blatchford
at 12 oclock – did not come over until
this morning – we were up late last night
watching for you – I will endeavour to
be ready to leave tomorrow afternoon as
I think it better to remain all night at
Utica than to get up at 3 in the morning
with Willie
about us if we do not come until
Saturday – I will be as expeditious as
possible – I am very glad to hear your
father
please give my love to them both.
Have the goodness to say to Harriet
I bring no one but a nurse with me
Mary Boyce – Maria refuses to come. I
wish Harriet to put the bed used by
Mrs Benedict in the small bed room which
opens into the upper hall opposite the store room –
for Mary. I have use for the other room –
I hope Harriet will be able to stay until I
