I send this morning
the Lake Superior Report to
Mr Edmund Blunt
Yesterday while I was out
Lieut
they are staying in the city
Lieut. E.B. Hunt– is it your old
classmate
see them tomorrow–
Dont you intend to come
here for a while when you
can leave New York–
We will not insist upon
your visiting any more than
you choose– I hope you
will come– Aunty
me that she will
probably return with Mr

agreeable party– Father
is very busy as usual
he has three or four cases
in the supreme Court which
occupy much of his time.
Little is going on in Congress
during the holidays
