Frederick W. Seward Esqr.
My dear Frederick,
I have just now
received your letter of the 29th. It is
pleasant to know that Anna

re-
mains well. I am so happy in the
belief that she improves by residing
in the country that I endure without
repining your own absence and her's.
Politically, there is nothing which you
do not know except the knowledge
of how much you do know by news-
papers is erroneous. Officially, labor
without annoyance
We conveyed Mrs Risley's

to a vault in the cemetery at Oak
